As part of a Microsoft research competition, our group at Carnegie Mellon explored opportunities for ubiquitous, high-bandwith computing. Our process involved exploratory, generative, and evaluative research en route to our final design - nperson software for use on desktop computers and hand-held devices.
nperson is a service-based system for exchanging virtual business cards between small business owners and their clients. The service facilitates easy access to customer needs and information which enables small business owners to manage client relationships efficiently without costly relationship management software. The nperson platform helps to establish, maintain, and even repair trusting client relationships.
