The significance of symbols within organized religion is tremendous. In photographing these icons, I explore how these symbols are represented in the world around us.
These images were captured in and around Pittsburgh, PA. I shot with 35mm black and white film that I developed. I printed the images in a darkroom at Carnegie Mellon.
